This mod is in beta, currently it supports most functionality and is relatively stable for F&H 1. It is "compatible" with Termina, but will be quite buggy as I have not begun testing for Termina compatibility, but it should "run"

What is Fear And Hunger Multiplayer?

Fear and Hunger Multiplayer is a mod for the game Fear and Hunger 1&2.

It adds online coop (and some pvp) to the game, making it posible to play the game with friends, family, loved ones, hated ones, loathed ones and enemies alike. Experience the horrors of the dungeons with all those you hold dear, watch as they are torn apart mentally and or physically or perhaps grow closer to them, so close that your flesh meld into one and you become inseparable <3. Enjoy Fungering with friends.  

This mod makes the game too easy.

Scaling and balancing changes are planned, hardmode will have special difficulties and things to balance out the difference in action economy etc...

But until then there are scaling options in the file "mods/_multiplayer/scaling.js" you may change these values to make the game harder/easier and customize your experience, just read the comments above values and change the ones you would like to change.

How long has the mod been in development?

Development started as a joke around May 2023, where I wrote some basic net code and sent a video to a friend as a joke. From there I spent the next couple months building out a modding API alongside the multiplayer mod, and here we are now, with a mostly functional mod for the first game and compatibility for Termina underway.

This project uses the same mod loader as all my other mods, its install instructions are the same. Remember to always update the full modloader and mod when you download new versions as the mod loader receives updates frequently. 

 -First Decrypt Fear and Hunger files, this can be done with any RPGMaker MV decrypter, but the one me and Frap use is linked below:

   -Download the latest build it will likely be titled "stable"

   -add the mods folder to your game's www/ folder.  

   -replace your game's index.html file with mine (unless you have a reason to protect the original html file just replace it with mine).

   -The mod loader & the multiplayer mod are now installed

   -once the game launches on the main menu you can see a mods tab to activate or deactivate any mod/mods you would like.  

Why does the mod Cost Money?

Developing any large scale mod especially multiplayer is a extremely hard task. It takes a lot of time and work, which I do for free as I like the game and the community. That said, spending this much time on a project takes its tolls and offsetting that cost is always nice! 

Also to incentivize people joining the discord and having an actual community to help with trouble shooting rather than just commenting on this forum.

Plus the mod is free on the discord server, just join and download.
